Trader Joe’s is recalling 61,000 pounds of frozen chicken soup dumplings because they may contain plastic from a permanent marker.

There may be “hard plastic from a permanent marker pen” in specific batches of the dumplings, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s inspection wing announced Saturday. The products to be on the lookout for are the six-ounce boxes with plastic trays containing six pieces of Trader Joe’s Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings, with lot codes 03.07.25.C1-1 or 03.07.25.C1-2 printed on the side of the box. They were produced Dec. 7, 2023.
