The Raven at Dusk by L. Wayne Russell

the raven wild
swoops into
dusk dark
brazen and lost
within stealth
moment of sheer
sleekness
and haunting
beauty.
a beauty that will not fade
with the ageless infinite
spectrum of sadness
nor with  photos permeated
in black and white labyrinths
labyrinths that are  now  captured
for all the ages
to bare  witness  to

Wayne has been dabbling with creative writing  since childhood, however only started taking the craft of poetry more seriously in early adulthood.
Wayne’s poetry has been published in The Rattle Snake Press, 10 K Poets, and Rolling Thunder Press, among others.
