The Mourning Dove
Why
Are
You
Grieving
Oh
Mourning
Dove
Is
That
Just
Your
Song
Of
Speech
Or
Are
You
Missing
A
Mate
Or
Have
Some
Other
Sadness
In
Your
Life
As
The
Sky
Is
Sunny
And
Blue
Maybe
Your
Happy
I
Do
Not
Know
Coo
Coo.
 The Robins
So
Many
Robins
On
The
Ground
And
In
The
Trees
Such
A
Sunny
Day
At
Length
Isn’t
It
Spring.
Like
A
March
Wind
With
Silver
Gray
Wings
And
Orange
Breast
Oh
How
It
Sings.
Bluebird
Bluebird how lovely you
Are to me.
It is winter and you haven’t
Flown away.
You are a friend wild and free.
I keep my distance.
Oh bluebird, you have wings.
You needn’t sing.
