Physics by Annmarie Lockhart

Atmospheric disturbances
have names and formulas,
ways to make sense of their
ways,
but the house down the shore
is on the other side of the road
today and the beach is where
the highway
was.
Cyclones twist the world
from color to black and white
while memory feeds on spray paint,
surf spray, spun sugar,
and spinning
wheels.
