Susan Hughes is a fine artist based in Ireland. She has been swimming in the sea, taking underwater photos and documenting each experience on her blog. The experience itself, the writing, the photos and the consequent paintings produced are all artworks in themselves. The style is detached in a documentary style although personal feelings and emotions creep in, reflecting her interest in experience and memory as both souvenir and specimen.
