Scott Clendaniel is an Alaskan oil painter who splits his time between Anchorage, and a small town called McCarthy, deep in the mountains of Wrangell – St. Elias National Park. Scott dedicated several years to traveling around the world in order to learn from cultural experiences, to be inspired by natural beauty, and to be motivated by history’s greatest artists. His oil paintings are best characterized by color and texture. Each piece brings positive energy into the room, and takes the viewer’s mind to another place. His art’s subject matter changes in tandem with his life’s widely-varying experiences.
