James Owens divides his time between central Indiana and northern Ontario. Two books of his poems have been published, and his poems, translations, and photographs appear widely in literary journals. Hobbies include metaphysical disquiet and watching small objects — leaves, stray scraps of paper, the surface of a puddle — moved about by wind.
