Jeremy Nathan Marks is an American who came to Canada over six years ago to try and gain new perspective on living in North America. In that time he  married, adopted two rescue dogs, become a permanent resident and begun exploring what he thinks he came up north to find. He doesn’t know if it is due to age or many years spent in graduate school, but poetry has become the way that he may speak truly as himself.
