Bathsheva
The shadow on the tablecloth,
Your blood dripping through the ceiling
From the upper room
Dripping into my coffee cup
And I calmly drink it
The peonias on the balcony
Witnessed sin,
witnessed punishment
witnessed you and him
wrapped up in an evil hour
twisted like the genes of Cain
Miracles! Oh, stop this noise
In my head, burning like that evil hour
Hurting like pleasure
Like the wrestling of angels
You were the blue nude, the lover type
On Picasso`s „Le Vie”
On poor Casagemas` side
You presented a paradox, a dead end
And your blue hues
Were washed away by bloody pink
The paradox is solved, we are all free now
And destiny, like God`s mercy, is hovering
over your transparent soul
